OCT is Launching Multi-Center Study of Canakinumab Biosimilar in Rheumatology

Leading contract research organization in Eastern Europe OCT announces the launch of a new clinical trial in Rheumatology for a major Russian pharmaceutical company.  

The study will be conducted in 18 research centers across the country. This is a multicenter, randomized, double-blind clinical study. It is planned to enroll 112 adult patients with an acute gouty arthritis attack. The aim of the study is to evaluate the efficacy and safety of the biosimilar compared to the originator drug.
